SF Bay Adventures Maritime News

Captain’s Log: March 118th (or at least it feels that way). It is only the 178th day of 2020 and yet it feels like we have all been in Sheltering in Place for much longer.

On June 5th Marin County began allowing charter boats to operate with ten people or fewer, including Captain and crew. Other counties have different ordinances. Please call or email us for a quote. We would love to help get you out on the beautiful SF Bay!

Last week captains and crew of both Freda B and Cimba were excited to take part in a professional demonstration of new, CDC approved cleaning and safety supplies, plus sail training for our annual COI. Cimba will be available again for charter starting July 3rd. Freda B hopes to follow once maximum capacity has increased.

We have all been primarily on land for quite some time. The good/bad news is there are always plenty of projects when you own boats and they are guaranteed to take even longer when you’re doing them alone, just ask Captain Paul.
